As the year comes to an end I start to reflect on the many things that I have done and accomplished this year. One of them is starting this blog and letting all of you in and getting to know a bit about me and the journey I am on.
This year has been quite the journey and sharing it with all of you I have enjoyed. I have watched my love for my two boys grow. I have gone back to work and I have tried to figure out a schedule on how to work full time and raise a family. I have to say it has not been the easiest but I am managing.
I still can’t believe that today is the last day of 2014. I do wish had done more this year and accomplish more things but that’s what I have next year for. I have started things and now I am on the road to finishing them.
I still haven’t quieted finished writing next years goals but I know I will have a few and I can only hope to accomplish them all.
I hope that you enjoyed 2014 as much as I did and I want to wish you all the best for 2015. Can’t wait to calibrate with friends and family tonight.
Happy New Year!!!
I have been a little MIA these past couple of weeks and I feel that it may be the same this week as well. I always find the holidays not very relaxing and extremely busy. Between picking up last minute gifts, running around from house to houses to see family and cooking a family breakfast on christmas morning I found very little time to myself. I also would not have traded any of it for the joy I had with my family and the time we got to spend together.
To see the smiles on my boys faces when they woke up and got to find out what Santa had brought them for Christmas and the house we spends putting everything together brings so much happiness to me.
And now with the new year just around the corner it will be just as busy with the running around and I’m ready for it!

As I am Canadian I had my thanksgiving last month but I am still thinking of all of my American friends and how they were all celebrating yesterday.
I have many things to be thankful for starting with my family. I am very thankful for the family I have, for the family I have married into and for the family I have started. My parents have raised me well and have taught me the way of life and to them I am thankful for the my life I have. To my mother in law, she has welcomed me with open arms like a daughter of her own and has treated me the very best from the start. And to my husband, He is my best friend, my partner and the love of my life. He has been amazing to me since the day we met. We have traveled many places together and plan on going to many more. We all so started a family together and I could not be more thankful for that. We have borough into the world two amazing boys that I love to watch grow and learn each day. They are my life!
It is true what they say, being a momma is the best job in life and to that I am thankful!
I hope all of you had a wonderful thanksgiving weather it was yesterday or last month!
Today is remembrance day. A day to remember great selfless people.
All I would like to say today is to please remember the men and women who have fought and our still fighting for our freedom.
On this 11 month, of the 11th day, on the 11th hour have a moment of silence for those who have lost their lives for us to live in the great country we call home.
To all of you I say thank you!
The weekends over and I’m back to my Monday to Friday work day routine.
I do have to say I had a wonderful weekend with my friends and family.
This past week was one of my good friends birthday. Saturday her and her husband had a bunch of us over for a night in of good conversation and great home made pizza.
Yesterday I spent the day at home. Yes, I was doing a lot of of house hold chores of cook and cleaning but in between me trying to keep my house clean i sprnt some time played with my boys. I also did a little cooking and made some fun rice crispy treats for them to eat. I ended my night off with a quite night on the couch, a hot cup of tea , a warm blanket and a movie.
Wish my weekend was longer but now I’m just going to have to look forward to next weekend.
I have been a little MIA this past week as I was planning and taking part in my brothers wedding. We spent most of last week finishing up the centerpieces, putting together favors and making sure the wedding was going to go off with a bang and that it did! My brother and his now wife had a amazingly beautiful wedding day. I have very little pictures of the day as my phone was locked up inside the bridal suite for most of the night and by the time I got it, it was time to dance the night away. And yes that is were I spent the rest of the night on the dance floor.
Here are a couple of picture I took before we took off and from the week as we put the deportations together.
I had so much fun planing this wedding and was so happy I could help!!!
Maybe I should take up being a wedding plannner :)!
Friday night I went out with some girlfriends yo see the Broadway show Wicked. It was one of the best shows I have see. The writer did an amazing job on the story of the wicked witch of the west. It tied in very well with the movie the wizard of Oz. It was a great job by all. The preformers did a wonderful job and the sung beautifully. It is a for sure must see if you haven’t already!
For my night out I kept it very casual as it was a rush home from work and a rush down town.
Below is my casual night out outfit. It was great to have a girls night out and was a must need but I did miss my boys a bit once I left. 🙂
Top; Katie / Jeans; Forever21 / Shoes; Geox / Bracelets; Aldo / Necklace; bought years ago on a cruise
With these fall leaves everywhere today my boys and I had some fun jumpping in them. Happy times with my family and at the end getting them to help me bag them was even better.
Sunday was for sure a fun day!!!!!
Monday morning and back to work. Who really likes Monday mornings, because I can tell you that I don’t. So hard to wake up and wishing I had one more day to somewhat sleep in. Most of all I don’t like the idea that I have 5 days till I get to spend the full day with my boys.
Well it’s back to the office for me and as It not as good as it used to be the count down is on till the weekend. 5 days to go!
Enjoy your Monday!
