Hello again I feel I should be saying as it has been so long. My March was jammed packed full of life evens and my April is off to the same start.
As I never got to do a post for the month of March here it is in review.
I had an amazing March. If you follow me on instagram you may all ready know this, as I have posted a few pictures there. For some reason I always find time for a quick update as I have a little love for instagrm and a life full of pictures.
My month started off with a wonderful week with my family to the in Cancun Mexico. The place was just beautiful and great for our whole family. There where things for the kids to do everyday. The pool was great as we spent most of our week there and we met a lot of great people. My husband and I could not have asked or wished for a better time. We are already trying to plan our trip back next year.
My month was also full of a few different outfit changes. Now that the season spring has arrived I am hoping to have a better verity of colours and style. The problem I have been having is the calendar is saying it’s spring but I have to say here in Toronto it hasn’t felt to much like it. I could really use some more warmer days as I would really like to get rig of the socks and pull out the flats. I know I really could but I am one of those people that just cant get warm and once my feet are cold that is it an I am done for the day.
so as April is here please send some warm beautiful weather our way so I can put away the boots and bring out the flats and enjoy some good choice in style and fashion as I am a little tired of the winter wardrobes.
I became a wife 6 years ago on the very day, Tuesday February 24th 2009 at 2pm to my very handsome husband. We wed on a cruise ship int eh middle of the Caribbean Sea in front of 30 of our closest friends and family. I could not have asked for anything better to happen that day, and could not have been happier with how the whole day turned out. I still remember it like it was yesterday and the truth is who doesn’t remember there wedding as it should be one of the happiest days of your life and mine was.
To describe this perfect day as I remember it. The sky was blue with perfect puffy white clouds, the water was crystal blue and sparkled with the hot sun shining off of it. (That truthfully was all I was hoping for as I’m from Canada and the end of February is most likely freeing cold). As my now husband was standing at the end of the aisle waiting for me to walk down, dressed in his white suite (yes, I wanted a white wedding and had asked all my gust to be dressed in a shade of white) All I was thinking was that I could not have been happier person with the decision I was about to make.
Yes in the past 6 years we have had our ups and downs, our cries and kisses, but to this day I could not happier with the man that I call my best friend, my soulmate, my rock. He is the one that brings a smile to my face everyday, makes me laugh so hard I cry, and picks me up when I am down.
I would like to wish my very handsome husband a happy 6th anniversary and to many more wonderful years with you.
As you may have noticed I am a lover of tea. I don’t drink coffee and it does surprise most people that I go through and entire day with out one drop, but I have to say I can not go with out my tea. Most days I will drink 3 – 4 cups of tea. It just my kicker. Love and live for my tea. I do have a favorite brand and it daves tea. They have some of the most amazing flavors.
I wanted to share a few of my favorites from this past holiday. Yes these were holiday teas, but when I walked in as saw them there I just had to have them. Tea keep my heart and body warm and give me such a reading feeling. Truthful during the holiday I didn’t feel that I had any free time or get to enjoy these flavors and now I can.
If your a tea drinking what are your favorite types of tea to drink. I have to say I lean more toward the black teas.

One of this years New Years resolution is to eat better. It’s not like I’m a bad eater and have tons of junk all the time, it’s just I have some savory taste buds and love my salty foods. I feel if our family dinner this year start off healthy we will feel much better about our selfs and hopefully will start getting my children to eat more. (They are some picky boys so it makes it hard for me as the parent to decide what to make)
Last night dinner was some shrimp tacos. They turned out delicious and my family at least tried the. Lol!
The boys were not a fan of the shrimp but they did eat most of the taco.
What I used to make these were half a package of frozen shrimp, corn, tomatoes, red onion, avocado & lettuce.
To defrosted the shrimp and then cooked them in a little bit of coconut oil and fajita seasoning.
I cut up all the veggies and tossed them in a bowl. I also heated up the corn and tortilla wraps.
Once all was cooked I just topped it all together on the tortilla. And dinner was done. And easy yummy fix for the whole family.
I also cooked a little bit of rice as my kids love it.
Sorry not the greatest at describing how to cook as I’m not the greatest of chefs. I do try but if it’s going to take some time I may leave it for some one else to make 🙂
As the year comes to an end I start to reflect on the many things that I have done and accomplished this year. One of them is starting this blog and letting all of you in and getting to know a bit about me and the journey I am on.
This year has been quite the journey and sharing it with all of you I have enjoyed. I have watched my love for my two boys grow. I have gone back to work and I have tried to figure out a schedule on how to work full time and raise a family. I have to say it has not been the easiest but I am managing.
I still can’t believe that today is the last day of 2014. I do wish had done more this year and accomplish more things but that’s what I have next year for. I have started things and now I am on the road to finishing them.
I still haven’t quieted finished writing next years goals but I know I will have a few and I can only hope to accomplish them all.
I hope that you enjoyed 2014 as much as I did and I want to wish you all the best for 2015. Can’t wait to calibrate with friends and family tonight.
Happy New Year!!!
I have been a little MIA these past couple of weeks and I feel that it may be the same this week as well. I always find the holidays not very relaxing and extremely busy. Between picking up last minute gifts, running around from house to houses to see family and cooking a family breakfast on christmas morning I found very little time to myself. I also would not have traded any of it for the joy I had with my family and the time we got to spend together.
To see the smiles on my boys faces when they woke up and got to find out what Santa had brought them for Christmas and the house we spends putting everything together brings so much happiness to me.
And now with the new year just around the corner it will be just as busy with the running around and I’m ready for it!

As I am Canadian I had my thanksgiving last month but I am still thinking of all of my American friends and how they were all celebrating yesterday.
I have many things to be thankful for starting with my family. I am very thankful for the family I have, for the family I have married into and for the family I have started. My parents have raised me well and have taught me the way of life and to them I am thankful for the my life I have. To my mother in law, she has welcomed me with open arms like a daughter of her own and has treated me the very best from the start. And to my husband, He is my best friend, my partner and the love of my life. He has been amazing to me since the day we met. We have traveled many places together and plan on going to many more. We all so started a family together and I could not be more thankful for that. We have borough into the world two amazing boys that I love to watch grow and learn each day. They are my life!
It is true what they say, being a momma is the best job in life and to that I am thankful!
I hope all of you had a wonderful thanksgiving weather it was yesterday or last month!
Today is remembrance day. A day to remember great selfless people.
All I would like to say today is to please remember the men and women who have fought and our still fighting for our freedom.
On this 11 month, of the 11th day, on the 11th hour have a moment of silence for those who have lost their lives for us to live in the great country we call home.
To all of you I say thank you!
The weekends over and I’m back to my Monday to Friday work day routine.
I do have to say I had a wonderful weekend with my friends and family.
This past week was one of my good friends birthday. Saturday her and her husband had a bunch of us over for a night in of good conversation and great home made pizza.
Yesterday I spent the day at home. Yes, I was doing a lot of of house hold chores of cook and cleaning but in between me trying to keep my house clean i sprnt some time played with my boys. I also did a little cooking and made some fun rice crispy treats for them to eat. I ended my night off with a quite night on the couch, a hot cup of tea , a warm blanket and a movie.
Wish my weekend was longer but now I’m just going to have to look forward to next weekend.
